Which zero wind kite to fly?
Originally the graphical chart to overview your collection, here's a handout with all the kites.
The zero and light wind kites are shown in relative scale, including the respective minimum time and space requirements for a weightless flight.
The origin of the time and space axis is situated at a typical urban flight: in the evening on the way home or by night on the piazza.
The values are lower limits and for the flying lines, typical minimum lengths are shown. Short lines are always handy, they are 20 meters long.
All zerowind kites love to fly in a mellow wind too, then better on a long line. In strong winds, grab your c'est la vie freestyle for high flights. But don't fly in storms, please.
If you simply can't decide: de tomaso superleggera (delta design), or de tomaso honey (wing design) for urban floating without or almost without wind. Icarex or hyperlight dyneema laminate edition.
