Long flying line

Braided Dyneema lines (aka spectra kite lines) for high flights with light kites in no or low wind.

Zero.4 thin and light
Zero.5 medium
Zero.6 strong, good grip

All on the black zero.125 reel.

Kite line on a black reel.

The long zero.4, zero.5 and zero.6 flying lines come spooled onto this compact zero.125 reel.

A black reel for light wind kites.

A ready to fly zero.125 reel: the asymmetrical construction prevents twist in the flying line.

Off-loop on the reel.

The little off-loop to quickly remove the line from the pigtail of the kite. Make it yourself if you need it.

The flying lines are specifically produced for flights with zero-wind-kites. They are light and stretch-free, important for precise and direct contact with the kite.

Line is not included with the kite, choose the appropriate 50 or 100 meters for high flights.

The asymmetrical z.125 reel helps with flying line management. Always unwinding and rewinding from the same side, there is no twist. Stable on the ground or in the hand. Design: Thomas Horvath, swiss made.

Long zero.4

High altitudes: de tomaso serie, c'est la vie Icarex serie.
Extreme altitudes: the urban ninja ul, like a rolling stone ul.

Long zero.5

High altitudes: like a rolling stone std and flow, the urban ninja ul.
Extreme altitudes: like a rolling stone std and flow, the long way home.

Long zero.6

For urban flights in rather confined space you may choose a short flying line, especially with small kites. With medium size kites, a short flying line may also be one grade stronger for agreable handling and visibility.

The z.125 reel

Compact heavy-duty reel with pressfit core with ergonomic handling when flying single-line kites with little or no wind.

A BIC pen just fits quite locking into the central 8.1 mm bore, and a wooden hexagonal Caran d'Ache pencil could be a freewheeling axle.

We use the reel as it comes, straightforward, without any fuss, by hand.

zero.53

A denser braided colorless-white flying line made of spectra®. It offers a touch more grip than dyneema® and is suitable for all kites except the smallest like I'll be back, c'est la vie darling and urban ninja the numbers. Available while stock lasts.
